[u]STATEMENT REGARDING RECENT DEVELOPMENT
As a newly founded nation who just gained independence from the ruthless tyranny of Podgorica, the United States of Argentinistan has democratically elected its first president, chosen a capital city, and is developing their economy.
The capital city is Buenos Aires which will house most of the government buildings. The government also seeks to house some Commonwealth of Jeltronia government buildings if needed. The city will have a major international airport, underground metro system, and a new network of paved roads.
Formerly a third-world territory of Podgorica, Argentinistan is developing and hopes to be a first-world nation in a few years.

King Jotham II makes key appointments, reshuffles cabinet
His Majesty has reshuffled the Council of Ministers, the largest shakeup of the senior leadership of the government under the Navarro premiership. The prime minister was retained by the King and will continue to help lead his government, but some of his fellow ministers who were first appointed with him in 2013 will be leaving the government. The Senate of the United States of Argentinstan has just declared the South American Dollar (SAD) as the national currency. It will be used in all internal affairs undertaken by the nation as well as foreign affairs.

Prime Minister Navarro announces he will step down
In a stunning announcement, Charles Navarro today said he will step down as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Jeltronia after four years of serving the Crown and the country. He said that on August 28, he will relinquish the leadership of the Council of Ministers and that a new Prime Minister would be sworn in thereafter, although giving no information as to who that potentially might be. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=392358&p=32345169#p32345169

Richard Cross becomes Prime Minister, New ministers appointed
Sir Cross accepted the King's invitation to form a new government shortly before 9.30am and minutes later spoke to the country outside the prime minister's residence. His predecessor, Charles Navarro, earlier formally offered his resignation to His Majesty. The King thanked him and awarded him with a knighthood, witnessed by close family and friends in a private ceremony at Ruedepar Hall, minutes before Sir Cross arrived. Read the full story here.
